Monster: The Doctor
Recently, I went to a corner store near me that i had never bothered going to. its slightly out of the way, but it was the only one open that time of night. I discovered there cans of Monster Energy's The Doctor flavor, a flavor I believe is not widely distributed in the United States. I bought one to try, because. well of course I did.
Smell-wise, it smells kinda like ultra zero, but slightly more lemony, though that may be exacerbated by the bright yellow color of the fluid.
The carbonation is lighter than a standard Monster, and as it is described on the can, it certainly is citrusy. Id place its citrus closer to yuzu than to the more general citrusy flavor of other citrus monsters. its also got some orange and lemon notes.
overall, i really like this flavor, its a really solid flavor and it is in fact light and refreshing, as it states it aims to be on the can.
